Frid 22nd Nov- Performed at Vocalis @ Beaconsfield Contemporary Art Gallery near Waterloo, which comprised 3 structured improvisations on electric violin, with a backdrop of experimental video. Thanks to Naomi, David Crawforth and the rest of the crew for a super-cool evening, and to the lovely audience for such great feedback. Also thanks to J.Gagen for expert VJ-ing and other assistance, and to Rosalie Pearce Bell for dancing in the Bargehouse (subject of 3rd film).
Thurs 7th Nov 2019 – Played a live a set at Vanishing Point @ The Ivy House [Nunhead, SE London]. Super venue, great audience, and a really well managed event – thanks Neil March and Hugh the sound guy!

26-28 Sept 2019: ArchaeaBot installation by Anna Dumitriu and Alex May at Ugly Duck in Bermondsey. I was both the collaborating scientist and sound artist on this project, creating the soundtrack for this post-apocalyptic manifestation of an ancient acid/heat loving microbe.
1st Sept 2019 – Performed at Noiseberg in Berlin (Oppelner Straße 12) which was mega-cool. Sold some CDs too!! Super-friendly promoter.
11th Aug 2019 – performed at DIY space for London, alonside Folkcore and British Nightmare. Lovely venue, helpful promoter and sound man.
1st July 2019 – Metal Water Wood (from my recent CAMP residency), Incision and Stiffkey (from my new album Ergot in the Wine) played on framework radio – the show specialising in field recordings and tracks made using field recordings – broadcast on London’s art radio station Resonance FM and Resonace EXTRA. 22nd May 2019 – ‘Wild River’ from my 2nd album ‘Ergot in the Wine‘ broadcast on BBC Radio 3’s Late Junction.
15-19th May 2019 – attended the CAMP residency Modern Composition with Gavin Bryars in the French Pyrenees. A truly sublime experience located in an old village house, around 1200m high in the awesome snow-capped tree-lined mountains. I composed a piece called ‘Metal Water Wood’ by tapping and bowing found objects in the garden and outbuildings, and combining them with field recordings from the mountain stream and l’Eglise. Recorded using a combo of contact, hydrophone and condenser mics.
20th May 2019 – broadcast of Dronata on Radiophrenia Glasgow. Dronata is a 1hr drone composition constructed using bowed electric bass guitar and detuned electric violin.
4th May2019 – Performed on vocals, violin, laptop at the Electronic Open Mic @ Jazzlive At The CRYPT, St. Giles Church in Camberwell, SE London. Packed out venue with enthusiastic audience!! https://www.facebook.com/events/252874285650685/
22nd Jan 2019 – Live set for NoizeMaschin!! #22 at the Amersham Arms in New Cross – with experimental video backdrop. Set list was Bare Feet, Moment, Contact Physique and Wild River. Live footage (filmed by Paul Simpson) available now on YouTube.

7th Jan 2019 – rough rehearsal version of one of my new songs ‘Wild River’ included in a Rusted Tone Recordings Sampler. The final version of Wild River will eventually be released as a (yet un-named) cassette tape on the Linear Obsessional label.
16th Dec 2018 – performed 1/2hr song-based set at A’mas using surround sound and 3 screen video projections – accompanied by talented dancer Rosalie Pearce Bell. Video now available on YouTube.
9th Dec 2018 – performed as FluxHaus with David Little for Linear Obsessional at The Arts Cafe in South London.
3rd Dec 2018 – Fluxhaus debut outing at Boat-ting – Kassia Flux on vocals, violin and field recordings, improvising with David Little on gong, monotron and electronics.

31st Sept 2018 – APT LIVE 2018 – performance installation ‘Spirit of the Mime, Spirit of the Gift’ (after Taussig) using manipulated field sounds interlaced with improvised vocal mimicry, with improvised dance performed by Rosalie Pearce Bell and video backdrop.
