about

I’m a musician, composer, performer and moving image artist (b.1963). I play electric violin, sing and make field recordings. My music crosses electronic, classical and improv boundaries; I aim for originality, beauty, the extraordinary.

I’ve been performing as Kassia Flux since 2016. Since then, I’ve released two solo albums on Linear Obsessional. Several of my songs have been broadcast on BBC Radio 3’s Late Junction and Resonance FM, and I’ve performed at various London venues including Iklectik, Ivy House and DIY Space for London, and I’ve performed in Berlin.

In 2019 I was selected by BBC Music Introducing as one of the ‘ones to watch’, and I was commissioned by DJ Nick Luscombe to compose a track for Musicity X Culture Mile.

I’m currently working on my 3rd album, together with a collection of short films featuring contemporary dancer Rosalie Pearce Bell and music from the album.
